Aurenne Decor is a shop for the rooms you actually live in. The hallway you pass through twenty times a day, the corner of the bedroom that has never quite worked, the table everyone ends up gathering around.
We look for pieces that make those rooms feel finished, and we leave out the ones that only photograph well.
Our point of view
Most of what we carry is lighting, because changing the light is the fastest way to change how a room feels. Everything else is chosen to sit beside it without competing.
Nothing here is meant to be the loudest thing in the room. It is meant to still look right in three years, in a room you have rearranged twice.
How we choose

The shape has to read from across the room, not only up close in a product photograph. If it goes flat at a distance, it does not make the cut.

We check measurements against the rooms people actually have, and we publish them on every product page so you can measure before you commit.

If a piece only works in one perfectly styled corner, it is a prop rather than furniture. We want things that still work once the room gets lived in, with the post piled on it and the cat asleep underneath.

If we cannot verify a claim, it does not go in the description. Where a supplier's own numbers disagree with each other, we say so rather than quietly pick the flattering one.
