A low table that keeps a living room tidy and then grows when the room fills up. The top slides apart lengthways, taking it from 107 cm (42.13 in) closed to 165.1 cm (65 in) open, and two deep drawers across the front swallow the remotes, chargers and coasters that usually live on the surface.
The body is faced in warm walnut veneer, the drawer fronts in pale oak laid in a chevron so the grain points upward like a V, and the pulls are slim brass bars. The two woods do the work: warm walnut for the body, cool oak for the fronts, which is what stops a low rectangle from vanishing into a rug.
