A long rectangular dining table with a white faux marble top and a gold metal base that does something more interesting than four legs. At each end, a fan of slim curved gold tubes springs from a flat foot bar on the floor and splays upward to meet the underside of the top, like a sheaf opening out. One straight bar runs down the center between the two fans and ties them together.
The practical result is a table you can sit at anywhere. Nothing stands at the corners, so chairs go where the people are rather than where the legs allow, and the sealed faux marble surface takes a cloth without holding a mark.
