One upright slab of clear faceted acrylic, textured all over so it catches the light like crushed ice, with a tall oblong opening cut straight through the middle and a smooth gold band around that opening. Lit, it reads as a glowing halo around a gold portal. It sits on a shallow round gold base.
Most lamps are decided by where the outlet is. This one charges at 5 volts and then runs with no cable at all, so it moves from a bedside to a shelf to the middle of a dinner table without anything trailing behind it.
