The base is one piece of matte black iron shaped like an hourglass: two large mirrored curves that sweep in from either side, draw together at a waist in the middle and flare apart again top and bottom, standing on a flat black foot plate. Across it sits a thick panel in a rustic brown wood grain with a softly curved edge.
