A slim bar of black aluminum with a single unbroken line of light running its whole length. There is no lantern, no glass box and no separate lamp heads: just a flat matte black profile about 5 cm (2 in) deep and one continuous strip, which is what lets it read as a line on a wall rather than a fitting stuck to one. Mount it upright beside a door or lying flat above a porch.
It is sealed to IP65, which is the rating for protection against dust and against water jetted from any direction. The body is baked aluminum, backed by a three year warranty, with a rated life above 50,000 hours. It runs on 85 to 265 V, so it suits either mains standard. Nine lengths can be ordered, from 30 cm (11.8 in) at 9 W up to 240 cm (94.5 in) at 70 W, in cool white, warm white or neutral white.

A Line, Not a Lantern
One continuous strip runs the full length of a flat black bar only about 5 cm (2 in) deep. No glass box, no separate heads and no visible fixings, so it reads as a line drawn on the wall rather than a fitting bolted to it.

Built to Be Rained On
IP65 is the rating for sealed against dust and against water jetted from any direction. Rain, snow and blown grit are simply not an issue, and the rated life runs above 50,000 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does IP65 actually mean?
The 6 means fully sealed against dust and the 5 means protected against water jetted at it from any direction. In plain terms, driving rain, snow and a hosed down wall are all within what it is built for, which is why it suits an exposed elevation rather than only a sheltered porch.
What lengths and wattages can I order?
Nine, and each length has its own wattage: 30 cm (11.8 in) at 9 W, 60 cm (23.6 in) at 19 W, 80 cm (31.5 in) at 24 W, 100 cm (39.4 in) at 30 W, 120 cm (47.2 in) at 38 W, 150 cm (59.1 in) at 45 W, 180 cm (70.9 in) at 55 W, 200 cm (78.7 in) at 60 W and 240 cm (94.5 in) at 70 W. The section stays about 5 cm (2 in) whichever you pick, so a long one is still slim.
What is it made of and what color is it?
Aluminum with a baked finish, in black. Aluminum is the right material outdoors because it sheds heat well and does not rust, and the baked black finish is what keeps the fitting looking like a clean line rather than a weathered bracket after a couple of winters.
Will it work on my mains supply?
Yes. It runs on 85 to 265 V, which covers both the 110 V and the 220 to 240 V standards, so the same fitting works wherever you are. It is a self contained unit with the LED built in, so there is no bulb to source.
Which color of light should I pick?
Three are available: warm white, neutral white and cool white. Warm white flatters render, brick and timber and is the usual choice beside a front door. Cool white reads crisper against pale modern walls and picks out architecture. Neutral sits between the two.

Really impressed! To be completely honest i was a little skeptical about buying a light fitting from aliexpress... but this is really, really good!
Build quality is great, i was particularly impressed with the setup to wire into the lighting circuit. Also came with plenty of fixings to attach to the wall (you need 2, it came with 8!)
Going to order a second one now. Highly recommend!
Oh - and for those reading, use a size 6 drill bit for the slightly larger raw plug :)
