What It Holds

Assembly and Stability

Flat packed panels arrive numbered and the full hardware set is in the box, so one person can follow the printed sequence and have it standing without special tools. The boards are E1 grade MDF at 1.5 cm (0.6 in) thick, which gives the shelves a solid feel under a loaded row of boots. An anti tip wall anchor kit is included and should be fitted once the rack is upright, which keeps a tall open frame steady in a busy hall and around children and pets.

Care and Cleaning

A soft damp cloth is all the painted surface needs, dried straight after so nothing sits on the finish. The white paint is water resistant and scratch resistant, so road grit, rain and the odd scuff from a heel wipe off rather than staining. Keep the heaviest boots in the lower bays and the balance stays right, and give the open back an occasional pass with a duster to keep the shelves looking crisp.
