A shade woven from fine strips of pale bamboo into the shape of a straw hat: wide and very shallow, rising to a small point at the top and spreading out to a broad brim whose edge ripples and sweeps gently upward. A short turned wooden collar sits at the apex where the cord enters.
It is open underneath, so the light falls straight down in a wide soft pool while the weave itself glows from within. The holder is a standard E27, which means the lamp is your choice: a warm filament lamp for a soft glow through the bamboo, or a bright LED if you need the room properly lit. Two versions are sold, one with a warm white lamp and one with none.
