An armless desk chair with a seat almost 26 in (66 cm) across, which is the whole idea: it is wide enough to fold your legs up onto and sit cross legged for an afternoon. The backrest is deliberately low, a padded pad rather than a tall office back, and there are no arms at all, so it slides right under a desk and leaves your elbows free.
It fixes the thing that makes a standard task chair uncomfortable after two hours. You cannot shift position in a narrow seat between two armrests, and here there is room to curl to one side or put both feet up.

25.98 inches across and 18.7 inches deep, so it is noticeably wider than it is deep. A standard desk chair is around 19 or 20 inches wide, which is why folding your legs up on one does not work and on this one it does.
How high does it go?
The seat adjusts from 19.6 to 23.6 inches off the floor on a gas lift, and the whole chair stands 34.2 to 37.7 inches tall. Four inches of travel covers most desk and table heights, and the low 13.78 inch backrest means it slides right under when you are done.
Does it roll, or stay put?
Either, and you decide. Both castors and fixed foot pads come in the box for the same five point base, so you fit the castors for a study with a hard floor, or the pads if you want the chair to stay exactly where it is on a rug.
How much weight will it take?
The metal base is rated to 300 lb. The seat and back are filled with high resilience foam, which is the grade that springs back rather than flattening over a year of daily use, and the chair also has a tilt function for leaning back.
Is it hard to put together?
Assembly is required, and every tool and fixing is included along with an installation video, so there is nothing to source and nothing to guess at. The base, the gas lift and the seat go together in a few steps.
