A manual pump gets touched by the hands that most need washing, which is why the top of one is always the stickiest thing on the counter. This automatic dispenser reads your hand with an infrared sensor and doses the soap on its own, so nothing is touched at all.
It comes in a foam version and a liquid version, in white or blue, and recharges over USB rather than running through batteries.

How does it know when to release the soap?
An infrared sensor watches for a hand under the nozzle and doses automatically. Nothing on the unit is ever pressed, so the top stays clean and so does the counter around it.
