A small metal lamp with a domed shade on a slim stem and a round disc base, and no cable running out of the back of it. The light bounces off the inside of the dome and down onto the surface, so what you see is a warm pool rather than a bulb.
It runs from a built in 1800 mAh battery, charged over USB, which is the whole point: it sits on a dining table, a shelf, a windowsill or a bar without an outlet anywhere near. Touch the base to switch it on, and hold to dim. Three light colors are built in, and the shade comes in silver, gold, black or red.

The Dome Does the Work
The LED sits under a solid metal dome, so nothing shines at eye level. The light bounces off the inside of the shade and falls as a soft pool on the surface below, which is why it works on a dining table where a bare bulb would be unbearable.

Silver, gold, black or red, all on the same slim stem and disc base. The metal shade is what keeps a battery lamp from reading as a gadget, and it is the reason this one can sit on a laid table without apology.

How is it charged?
Over USB, into a 1800 mAh battery built into the base. There is no bulb and no mains cable in use, so once it is charged you can pick it up and put it wherever the light is wanted.
How do the controls work?
By touch. A tap switches it on and off, and holding your finger on the touch point dims it up and down. Three light colors are built in, running from a warm evening tone through to a cooler white for reading or working.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The LED is built into the lamp and draws 3 W, so there is nothing to fit and nothing to replace over its life.
Where does it work best?
Anywhere a socket is not. It is a small lamp, sized to sit beside a place setting rather than to replace a bedside lamp, which is why it suits a laid dining table, a bar, a shelf, a windowsill or a balcony table. Charge it over USB, set it down, and touch the base to dim it to the level the room wants.
Is it bright enough to read by?
For a page in your lap, yes at the cooler setting and full brightness. It is a 3 W lamp rated at 60 to 249 lumens, so treat it as an accent and mood light that can read at a push, not as a main lamp for a whole room.

Came really quickly and i’m super happy with it. the lamp looks great, feels good quality, and works perfectly. it gives off a nice amount of light and fits the space really well. overall, a great buy and i’d definitely recommend it if you’re after something simple and stylish.

The bottom part arrived broken, but since it's not visible, I'm going to use it as is. Maybe because of the break, the parts inside don't go in horizontally, but it's not very noticeable, so I'll just use it. The weight is just right, and it's easy to turn it on and off with a touch. It's wireless, so it's neat.

Wonderful, it's smaller than a typical lampshade, quite delicate, but for the purpose I wanted for the shelf with little depth, it met my needs!
