A rounded ceramic bottle that draws in to a short narrow neck and finishes in a rim that is deliberately not a circle: it dips and rises, edged in dark brown. The body is a cream crackle glaze, a fine web of lines across the whole surface, with slender green vines painted trailing up from the base.
It is made as a bud vase, which solves the problem a wide vase creates. A few stems in a wide mouth flop sideways; the narrow neck here holds three or four upright on its own, with no frog and no tape.

Vines Over a Crackled Glaze
