A hallway table that earns its place on the strength of its base: two wide V shaped tubes in powder coated steel that sweep in from either side and meet on one solid rectangular plate. It is the kind of frame people look at twice, which is a lot to ask of a table under a foot deep.
At 30 cm (11.8 in) deep it fits a corridor, an entry wall or the space behind a couch without narrowing the path past it, and the rustic brown MDF top still takes a lamp, a tray and a stack of books.
