A narrow console with no legs at all. Under the middle of the top sits a single stack of thick rectangular boxes, each pushed out sideways from the one below it, so the base steps left, then right, then down to a wide plinth on the floor. Seen from the end it reads as a zigzag; seen from the front it looks like a piece of joinery rather than a frame.
Because the stack sits under the center, both ends of the top overhang clear and stools can tuck underneath, while the offset boxes in between become open shelves you can actually use.

A Stack That Steps Left and Right
There are no legs. Thick rectangular boxes sit one on another under the center of the top, each offset sideways from the one below, so the base steps out one way, back the other, and finishes on a wide plinth. It is the whole design, and it means the piece holds the eye from the side as well as the front.

Each offset box leaves an open recess you can set things into: books lying flat, a folded throw, a small plant, a tray of keys. There are no doors and no backs, so the shelves read as part of the shape rather than as storage bolted underneath.

Narrow Enough to Live Behind a Sofa
At 30 cm (11.8 in) front to back it takes almost no floor, so it sits along a hallway you still have to walk down, or tight against the back of a sofa. The 108 cm (42.5 in) length still gives room for a lamp, a bowl and a stack of books without anything crowding.

I ordered two consoles, this one is magnificent but I haven't received the other one that I prefer, but it's also magnificent. 😍
for the other one, it's the one who works at the post office, just when I don't have a car, I have to find someone who doesn't work and who has been at the post office for 2 days, so I'll have it delivered to my home, so 5 for this piece of furniture, but I was eagerly waiting for the other style, less wood, more Asian with some wood.
There are options, but sometimes I have problems and it only happens with you.
